Description
Card is a reproduction of a historical painting of Fort Beauséjour created by Lewis Parker. The fort was the last stronghold of French Acadia which fell to the British. The image shows a variety of everyday activities at the fort in 1754, one year before its capture. This card appears to have been created by the Parks Canada staff as part of an exhibition of the artwork held between June 1 and October 15, 1980
