A similar copy of the photograph appeared in the Midcounty Review, May 22, 1952, v. 4, no. 21, pg. 12. It indicates that the anme of the restaurant given on the photo was incorrect. The retirement party was actually held at Al's Place in Port Arthur, Texas.

At side of photo: "Retirement Party for Postmaster W. O. Haizlip on May 1, 1952. L. to R.: Monta Miles, Eustace Moye, Sybil Moye, Josephine Biermortt, Alice Neely, Postmaster W. O. Haizlip, Frances, Haizlip, Maryon Ruth Miles, Betty Block, and W. T. Block. Location not recalled but probably at Tome and Skeeters.
