Description
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church building which replaced the structure which was destroyed by fire on March 23, 1953. An article in the Midcounty Review on 13 May 1954 stated: "Designed in the Spanish mission style, the new church will seat 400 ... The wall are of white stucco and the interior is of tile. Windows are pale blue and doors are of California redwood. The sanctuary floor is of terrazzo and the pews are constructed of solid oak."
