Photograph appeared in the newspaper with the caption: "NEDERLAND'S NEW SCHOOL -- The million dollar high school will be ready for students in September. The Chonicle Photographer Jimmy Everett took a flight over the Midcounty this week and snapped a picture of the spacious new building from the air. Finishing touches are being made at this time in and around the school. The ground is being leveled around the building. The school has a swimming pool, which is one of the largest in Southeast Texas. The auditorium is air-cooled and will seat 1,012 persons."
