Photograph appeared in the MidCounty Chronicle, 22 Jul 1992 on page 10B with the caption: "1922 Lunchtime at Langham in Nederland. Teachers in 1922 carried their lunch to school and often ate with their students as everyone took a break from studies to eat and relax. Seated front on the school steps enjoying lunch time were Lois Bishop, Octavia Boozer, Miriam Wendle. Back, Mrs. Christine Stappers, previously Doornbos, Mrs. Lucille Powers, previously Ritter (sister of Tex Ritter), Miss Alberta Poage, Mrs. Isabelle Ingwesen, previously Meyers, and Mrs. Lois McNeill, previously McIlheney. Lois McIlheney married William T. McNeill. Isabell Meyers married Elbert Ingwersen. Lucille Ritter married Rev. Bruce O. Powers. Christine Doornbos married M. J. Stappers."
