Description
These two photographs show the new Texaco Station after completion. Bunting is hanging from the canopy area. The bays have been completed. The signage above the bay to the left reads: "Washing." Signage on the bay to the right reads: "Marfax Lubrication." A similar photo appeared in the Chronicle, 15 Apr 1948, pg. 7 with the caption: "One of the most up-to-date service stations in the Midcounty is the Teaxco station operated by Goodwin "Goodie" Griffin of Nederland.
