Jefferson County Library Bookwagon, ca 1940
Reta D. Piland, County Librarian, shows off books available from the Jefferson County Library Bookwagon. A 1935 Ford V8 ton and a half panel truck was used. The bookwagon brought library service to 24,000 people in rural communities.
